Blue October is a rock band from Houston, Texas. The band was formed in 1995 and currently consists of Justin Furstenfeld (lead vocals, guitar), Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums, percussion), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin/viola, mandolin, piano, backing vocals), Matt Noveskey (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Julian Mandrake (lead guitar). Now their sixth album “Any Man in America” is being released.
Finally, the new Blue October album is being released. It comes with ten tracks. Yet another breathtaking and life changing album of the guys. This album is a very personal album and yet also reaches out to literally any man in America that is or was goint through the same: Divorce, child custody and losing it all. A very touchy and deep album, sad and frustrated. Justin knows how to transfer his emotions into songs and onto this album. “Any Man In America” also includes amazing and breathtaking arrangements. The music is amazing and the lyrics are piercing. Yet with an happy ending as you can hear on “Worry List” the latest. This album is yet another story, being told song by song. A story many people went through or are going through. Telling you, that there will be sun when the clouds have moved, that life will go on and pain as well as hate and frustration will fade. Musically the album includes rappers on “Any Man In America” as well as a female vocalist on “The Follow Through”. This album is really beautiful and touching. Yet another brilliant album by Blue October. A must have by all means!
