Crossfade is an American Alternative rock band from Columbia, South Carolina. Their current members are Ed Sloan on lead vocals and guitar, Les Hall on Lead guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals, Mitch James on backing vocals and bass, and Mark Castillo on drums. Since their formation in 1999 Crossfade has released three studio albums – their platinum selling self-titled debut album in 2004, and “Falling Away” in 2006. Their third album “We All Bleed” is released now.
The new album comes with ten brand new tracks, an average amount of titles being released on an album. Already the song titles give away that this album is dead serious, includes confessions and memories and is somewhat sad. Pressing play this assumption is being confirmed. The songs are dramatic, the arrangements are epic along with quite sad lyrics. This album is slow and thoughtful. An album that definitely makes you stop and think for a while and also reminds you that we all bleed eventually. So a quite fitting album title they chose with “We All Bleed”. The music on this album reminds of bands like Korn. “We All Bleed” is a brilliant album by a great band. Go get Crossfade’s new album “We All Bleed” now.
