Cold is an American post-grunge band, formed in 1996 in Jacksonville, Florida. With two gold-albums Cold has sold over one million records. On November 17, 2006, Ward announced on MySpace that, after a period of uncertainty since that February, the group had decided to disband. In July 2008, it was announced that the original line-up would reunite for a tour in early 2009. Now, they are back together and released a new album.
This is their fifth album called “Superfiction”. The new album comes with twelve brand new tracks. The album is very impressive. The lyrics are absolutely deep and touching your heart and soul. The music reminds of bands like 12 Stones, Three Days Grace, 3 Doors Down and slightly even of Creed. All songs on “Superfiction” are very serious and emotional. Sad stories are being told, meant to open eyes and to open minds. The melodies are beautiful and catchy, the songs are easily getting stuck in your head. Great rock music combined with a lot of heart is what you find on the new Cold album “Superficion”. Everyone who likes good rock music should get this album. It is simply epic, to describe it in one word.
