Releasedate: 25-03-2011; Label: Frontiers Records

Whitesnake comes with a new album. The band have been around for many, many years and has known several line-ups. In 2011 the band will release “Forevermore”. It is their 11th studio full length release.
The album starts with a bitter taste. The song “Steal Your Heart Away” has the lines “I want it all I want it now” brought in such an unoriginal way that you can’t help yourself thinking David Coverdale have been listening Queen before writing the song. So far none of the other songs have been very original either, but a slight forgiveness is there, as it is in line with all the band released before. At least they stay consequent to themselves. And as we are used to from the band, they give some ballads as well. These are surely the strongest points on this release. They bring in some acoustic pieces and this is a nice variation in this album. “Forevermore” follows up in a good line with their 2008 release “Good To Be Bad” so if that one was in your likes, this one will fit in their as well. David shows that he still is motivated to go for it and travel the world to tour with this album. It may not be the strongest release in their history, but the ballads make up a lot for it.
