The UK-based rock trio “Asomvel” through ten years of existence released their third full-length album “World shaker” that dedicated to founder Jay-Jay Winter (who tragically died in 2010).

The scale from less to more Motorhead changed from track to track but “perfectly match” was the main line. It’s really hard to not compare with legends but I’ll try my best. Probably, you’d like the killer opening track “World shaker” that gave a green light to the rest of album: speedy, dynamic and spicy.  “Every Dog has its Day” is a great sample of heavy and mind-blowing riffs. You could remember each tracks after listening because of different catching parts: chords, melody and chorus. For example, re-sing refrain of “The Law is the Law” and crying guitar in “True believer” or “Reap the Whirlwind”. Thirty-something minutes record ended up with “The Nightmare Ain’t Over”, the most solid track with all that drumbeating, sweating and rock’n’rolling.

The band that not just coping but transforming well-known material to another good stuff is worthy to be heard of. So enjoy the record.
