DarkmusiX is a label from Germany that has several industrial act in stable. They released a sampler holding fifteen of their artists to give an impression of what they are about.
Artists that are featured on this album are for example Dolor and Genetic Disorder who both recently released their albums. The starter of this disc is Lost Avatar which brings an intro that could have been from a Deathstars song, but don’t be mistaken as their music is totally different from that, with deep, calm vocals that are rather telling an opinion than be provocative. The act Terrorfrequenz is one that has an interesting song on this sampler too. “Deine Schläge” made a good impression on me for its way of dealing with tempo changes. Stahlsector is a band that sticked out also for being a little different than the others, having an extra mean edge to their sound. Furthermore there are the last two names that are both having English vocals: Aestetic Ideosyncrasy and Abbadonna. Abbadonna is giving a slow song, interesting one to close the sampler with.
This sampler gives you an exclusive look into what their artists have to bring, seeing what Darkmusix is about.
