Robby Valentine – Alliance

[schema type=”review” name=”Robby Valentine – Alliance ” author=”Milla Smile” pubdate=”2018-06-16″ ]

Robby Valentine is Dutch old-fashioned hair metal singer and multi-instrumentalist with long history on the music field and different level of popularity worldwide.

Welcome back to Future. To the era where hair metal is still alive. The “Alliance” is combination of thorny emotions packed in ten tracks. The first five songs are a cool breeze but other five are a rainstorm. Classy opening and final tracks. In between, you still listening to hair metal with idea of never-ending fights and standing on the edge with strength. “Judgement Day”, “Soldiers of light”, “The bitter end” are the solid proof of this idea. No hesitations, time is now and until the bitter end we won’t give up. Valentine’s personal experience adds nostalgic, melodic, mild and wide-heart notes to the each track. What makes album more powerful? Long guitar and piano solos plus too much choruses that you probably expected. “Remember who you are” resumes all the pathetic senses and provides for the new starts and albums for Valentine himself.

Though material as old as hair metal itself there is something that makes you feel a bit better. Moreover, (in my humble opinion) this kind of stuff could be marked as “Eurovision content” (and there are all the chances for victory).
