Safe to Say has for some time been a band just trying to keep up with the swift current in their own heads. In the early years, they were a new yet vaguely familiar melody in their hometown of Markham, Ont. On the band’s debut full-length, “With Everything In Between”, they set out to prove they were serious. And then they did what demands unprecedented patience for a band just gaining ground: they took their time. This is their brand new album “Down In The Dark”.
The new release by Safe To Say comes with thirteen songs. The tracks get calmer throughout the album. Starting out with catchy rock music, the album ends with smooth indie music. It is an interesting progress that Safe To Say put into “Down In The Dark”. Each song is telling a story, you should listen to closely. The music easily fades in with the background while listening. But it will still touch your mind and calm you. It is an amazing album to relax to and have a good time to.
Grab some friends and some drinks and then press play on “Down In The Dark”, the brand new album by Safe To Say.
