Unzucht is a German gothic rock band. They have been founded years back and have grown quite a fan base. On their most versatile album to date, Unzucht are spicing up their anthemic Dark Rock with surprisingly brutal intermezzos. “Neuntöter” unleashes a maelstrom of unbridled emotion, dark melodies and sudden aggression.
The regular album comes with eleven songs, the special edition includes seventeen songs. The duration of the versions varies between forty-six minutes and well over one hour. Strong music comes at you when pressing play. From slow to harsh and loud, the pace and volume of the songs vary but create a perfect picture as a whole. Each song is telling a story. The lyrics are in German but the melodies are telling you the stories and emotions as well, so there is no need to listen closely to the lyrics. Although they are absolutely worth it. The music is passionate and deep. Some songs are perfect to sway along, while others are perfect to clap and rock out to. The album includes a song for every mood.
Unzucht has a new album out. “Neuntöter” comes crawling up to your ears, creeps down to your heart and stays in your mind. So all you gothic fans out there: This album is yours to love.
