King was formed in 2013 by David Hill and Tony Forde who had worked together previously on grind core and death metal projects but shared the same drive to create something with more depth and space to express their musical ideas and concepts. David Haley joined King on drums in 2014 to complete the line up, his drum arrangements perfectly captured the atmosphere of King taking the compositions to the next level. Drawing from shared musical influences like Immortal, Moonsorrow, In Flames, Satyricon, Dissection and Soilwork, the underlying focus during the writing process was on strong song structures to allow the arrangements to effortlessly transition between raw black metal and epic, soaring layered melodies.

This is the brand new album of King and it is called “Reclaim The Darkness”. The album comes with nine songs and lasts for almost forty-five minutes. The music on “Reclaim The Darkness” is rough and loud. The melodies carry a slightly evil and threatening spirit. The vocals are mainly shouted and growled. The guitar riffs are pushing you forward while listening to the album. The music, King created for this album, will pull along not only metal fans but all fans of music you can listen to loud and proud.

“Reclaim The Darkness” is a thriving album that will pull you along from first to last. Dark and heavy the music is swinging above you, hard to ignore. This brand new album by the band King is a must have for all you metal fans out there. So go get this brand new album “Reclaim The Darkness” now.
