Due us devoting the day in setting up the camp after the long drive up to the county of Pohjanmaa, we didn’t see the first two cover bands but the last one. Like we could had guessed, the first night gave us only a glimpse of the actual festival area as the only stage in use tonight was the smallest one in a corner of a beer tent, which obviously meant that anyone underage didn’t have a chance of getting close.

The night begun  in a really great way as we got to witness a proposal up on the stage (she said yes!). The couple had been dating for 9 months and we can’t but to congratulate for the great effort, even if the other half had asked to be proposed somewhere else than boringly on their couch. We can’t say this was boring, congrats for them.

Then about the band… The last act for the first day was Forever One, a Sentenced tribute band but they didn’t impress. I can hear that they can play if they wanted to but if your singing swings aorund the right note and you don’t notice your audience. And if you’re a tribute, you probably should play the songs as they originally were composed and arranged, instead of what you see fit. They had probably had some encouraging drinks before the show and unfortunately it can be heard and seen.

This didn’t seem to bother the most of the crowd as the tent was full and getting a good spot to see the show meant working our way to see the stage.

But this was only the pre-party before the real ones.
