Slow Season – Westing

Contrary to the band’s name, downtime is a rarity for Slow Season. Sandwiched between summer 2015’s extensive tour with their RidingEasy label mates Mondo Drag and Electric Citizen, plus several short west coast jaunts, the hard-working quartet also found time to hammer out its most powerful and ambitious album yet. Written, engineered, produced and mixed themselves on their own equipment, entirely on analog tape, Westing is a hard-hitting and powerful reminder of how at one time a rock’n’roll band could be a transcendent experience.

The brand new album is called “Westing”. The music is very psychedelic and unique. The album sounds as if it was taken out of this time and space, designed without any influences of this world. Slow Season created an album, filled with absolutely interesting music. Music, you might had never heard before, but also music that will keep your attention until the last note has ceased and beyond. “Westing” comes with nine songs. The album lasts for almost forty minutes. Each song has its own spirit and sound. You feel as if you are watching some eras from the outside and yet feel its vibes.

This brand new album by Slow Season is taking you through time and space with “Westing”. An interesting journey that will keep your mind busy and will impress you. So go ahead and check out this brilliant album by Slow Season. “Westing” is waiting for you.
