Like Torches is a young band from Stockholm Sweden that consist of lead-singing brothers Jonathan and Daniel Kärn and their childhood friends Zakarias and Jimmy. Their debut album was self-funded but convincing enough to get the attention of labels and put the guys on the road for quite some shows – even a tour through Japan. This is their second album and is called “Shelter”.
The sophomore album “Shelter” comes with ten songs. The music on the album is catchy and thriving. Great rock music that is easy going and yet carrying a message, comes right at you when pressing play. Like Torches have found their sound somewhere between rock and pop punk. They prove their passion for music in these ten tracks. The sound, as well as lyrics and arrangements sound quite professional. Pretty impressive for only a sophomore album. If this is only the beginning, Like Torches have quite a lot to offer.
“Shelter” is a catchy album that will definitely get stuck in your head. Easy going music that can be loved by everyone that is listening. The music of Like Torches could be suitable for the radio.
