Blendof is a German Punk formation. The band has been together for about 10 years and played together with acts like Donots and Itchy Poopzkid. In 2009 the guys released a 16-track full length album and this year they come with a brand new EP called “Make Believe”.
The band shows a bit of a cheeky form of rebelism right away, simply starting the EP with “No. 2”. The song gives you an ambition Blendof, the band brings it big. It breathes energy, you simply know right away that it is a song that will hype up any audience in a live situation and they bring it as an entry to their sound. In the next track they manage to hold that feeling, giving a track called “Dead Borders” with a bit of Beatsteaks touch. The core of the release is losing it a bit though, chaotic songs where there is not one binding factor that holds the songs together which we earlier found in the vocals. The last two tracks bring it back again and show some elaborated song writing also.
Blendof presents an EP that is filled with energetic Punk tracks. They seem to have a good idea of how to set down their songs and except from the two halfway the guys manage to bring that out also. Only a little more critical on their own darlings and a killer release is on its way.
