Metal Scent is a band from Israel. They have made a local reputation and are now growing larger while their third full length album “Homemade” is out.

Expect some good old Heavy Metal from these guys, the old sound brought back into life by these guys. The band gets a face at first by the melodic vocals that are included in their sound. The drums take a good part of the backing and the guitars remain a little modest at first. Not making the riffs become the driving part before it is needed. Seems like they have thought of their balance quite well. Don’t be fooled by this, you won’t be hold back on some interesting riffs here and there, leaving some room for the bands to expand this a little more even. The album has songs that are diverse and therefor this release will keep you entertained. From the intense “Riders On The Knight” to the track “No Other Way” that comes with some surprising elements.
This band sets an album in which they show the experience and appreciation for the past. It shows potential as well. You quickly feel the band has more to grow into and therefore this album is a good one to get. Let’s see what will come up for them in future.
