The Australian band Airbourne released their album No Guts, No Glory at Roadrunner Records.
It would be very obvious to say Airbourne is very close to AC DC and there is hardly any way around that. But trying to find a way to go around it to describe the album seems to be a harder challenge. So for a bit I pretended that I have never heard any ACDC song in my life.
This release is the second one of these guys and in their home country they managed to get their name out quite well already. For the fans of the Hard Rock genre the band is not that unknown either. The band sets some typical catchy refrains, songs that stick in mind, and you can see people playing air guitar on it in your mind. Nothing wrong with this. The music is very feel good, good vibes and perfectly for seeing on summerfestivals. “No Guts, No Glory” is that album that you put on as a memory to the good times in the summer even when the snow is falling outside and makes you smile big time on that. So yes, maybe it is not the most original band that is out there in the world, but who cares. How many people like ACDC and how many of them can’t have enough of them. So Airbourne is perfectly welcome and with a release like this they will be noticed.
