Founded in 1979 French heavy metal pioneers Nightmare have been an integral of the European metal scene for the past three decades. Releasing their debut album “Waiting for Twilight” in 1984 and their sophomore release “Power of the Universe” in 1985. After an extended hiatus, Nightmare roared back onto the scene with “Astral Deliverance” in 1999 as former drummer Jo Amore assumed his new role as the band’s vocalist, handing over the drum duties to his brother David Amore. That same year they would release their reunion concert “DeLIVErance”.
Now these guys have a new album out which is called “Dead Sun”. The brand new album comes with eleven songs. Each song is rich in sound and lyrics. The vocals are quite impressive and will catch your attention. You will have to think twice before grasping the intensity of the female vocalist. The lyrics are strong and heartfelt, and these metal tunes are coming from a female vocalist!
“Dead Sun” is an album that includes catchy rhythms and great choruses. All to which you can sing along, shout along and dance along. All you metal heads out there: This is an album you must check out. Nightmare’s brand new release “Dead Sun” is waiting for you.
