Melodic Rock formation Borther Firetribe has its base in Finland. The band has gotten a bit of a fanboost with Nightwish’ Emppu Vuorinen in the band, but have started their own reputation straight from their start. The band releases their third full length album “Diamond In The Firepit” this month.
The band has a fabulous live reputation and the guys have released some live material in the past as well, but now with some brand new songs a new album comes out for the fans. As we got to know the band, the album is full of energetic and catchy songs. Here and there the band surprises with taking it a step back actually. A song like “Hanging By A Thread” is still catchy even though they clearly hit the brakes a bit. Nice to see this side of the band a bit more as well. The songs are diverse and have a recognizable character. If you haven’t heard the band before you should perhaps not expect to hear some complete innovative sound, but whatever the band brings is always done with care and skills.
When looking at the album it does not have a hit like the band’s song “Midnight Queen” was, but with tracks like “Trail of Tears”, “Edge of Forever” or “Winner Takes It All”. They have plenty material to guarantee a live spectacle again. Bring up the confetti, we are ready for that party! The album makes you happy and excited for all summer festivals ahead. The ideal soundtrack to your roadtrip.
