Mono Inc. is a German gothic rock band. The band’s influences are HIM, Sisters Of Mercy, Depeche Mode, Unheilig, The Cure, The Smiths, Placebo, New Order and even Metallica. Now they have released their sixth album “After The War”.

The new album comes with eleven tracks. Dark and low, like fog floating over the ground, Mono Inc float through the album. Strong guitar in the background and a mellow voice is guiding you through the new album “After The War”. Some songs are quite catchy. Gothic Pop is what Mono Inc created with this album. Most songs carry female backing vocals, some even a duet. “In The End” reminds a little of Beauty and the Beast. The new Mono Inc album “After The War” includes fast and slow songs, even a piano ballad (“My Songs Wear Black”). A painted crow with the paint still dripping decorates the album cover. Black and white. Like night and day. As Mono Inc has a little bit of both. A great album for fans of mainstream Gothic music. “After The War” by Mono Inc is out now.
