The Irish band “Million dollar reload” (or “Million $ reload”) formed in 2005. “A sinner’s saint” is the second album for the seven years of the band’s existence.
To be ultimate honest the album is the déjà vu. Yeah, it could be compared with “Buckcherry” work. But nothing’s new under the moon, so go further. The classy youngsters’ attempt to act tough as hell. Look at the cover. The glamster boy/girl holds the poster written in the cheapest font like a “will work for food”, or no, that’s “a sinner’s saint” note. Let see what behavior supposed to be in the sinner and saint ways. The opening track “Fight the system”. What could be more naïve and anarchic?! So sleaze wave did it right. The young and nasty are kicking and screaming for the fight. The key track “Bullets in the sky” has the powerful refrain. The ballad “Broken” is special track for, urm, breaking girls’ hearts for sure by romantic guitar riffs and solos. The other similar song is “Wicked”. Maybe that’s more “Aerosmith”ed. The track with hissing intro “I am the Rapture” supposed to be stadium live track. This kind of music is better when it’s loud and, even more, never too loud. As the last track “It ain’t over”.
So if you are still young, nasty and pompous or just feel so, go and listen to the album. Remember, it’s never too loud.
