The Pretty Reckless is an American rock band from New York City that was formed in 2009. The band consists of Taylor Momsen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Ben Phillips (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mark Damon (bass) and Jamie Perkins (drums). This is their fourth album which goes by the name of “Death by Rock and Roll”. 

The album comes with twelve songs and lasts for over fifty minutes. “Death By Rock and Roll” is an album filled with catchy rhythms and great rock music that will get you going on for sure. The female vocals are strong and a joy listening to. Taylor surely knows how to use her voice well. Her vocals definitely take you by the hand and guide you through the arrangements and stories of each song. The lyrics are deep and are about daily thoughts that everyone can relate to. For the song “And So It Went” The Pretty Reckless got a kids choir to join them for the chorus. 

“Death By Rock and Roll” is a brilliant album with a lot of energy and strength that will infect you while listening.
