The Casualties is an American punk band from New York City, New York, formed in 1990. Their musical style is usually classified as street punk or hardcore punk. After eight studio albums they now released a compilation album as a digital release, called “For The Casualties Army”, a sort of Best-Of album of some of their hits.
28 tracks, cramped together on this digital release to prepare their fans for the tour in early 2011. Songs from the last albums, from “Die Hard” (2002) to “We Are All We Have” (2009), picked and packed together to a perfect Christmas present for all punks out there. Fast, rebellious and old school punk: Just how we know them and love them. This is definitely for the Casualties Army! All a little punk heart needs to beat a little faster is to be found on this album. This release does definitely bring back good old memories. On this album you can also find a few live tracks including Ramones covers. Also has one Spanish song made it onto the album This album causes an urge to mosh in all of us punks. An urge to see The Casualties live again, and soon we’ll have the chance. Until then we can rock out to 28 of the best tracks.
