Deathcore formation Waking The Cadaver formed in 2006. The Americans are now releasing their album “Beyond Cops Beyond God”.
These guys have, at first sight, everything that other bands have too, but what comes with their brutality is that little raw edge. A little groove comes into it and that brings out a little extra. Furthermore I don’t have to tell the grunts are deep, it’s a fact, but perhaps more interesting is that the band comes up with a higher tempo than what the band have done before. The downside of this release comes with the variety. After a few songs, you basically heard them all. The whole album goes on and on at the same sort of success. It stands strong as a train, but it becomes an overdose when the train seemed to be longer than needed. Their sound is too general to stand out, but overall the album is good to deal with. The band will find their listeners in extremes, either like it a lot or hate it a lot, which shows that there will be a specific audience for them. The musicianship is well, but with some more variety it would keep the attention longer.
