Delica-m is a band from Canada founded back in 1999. Delica-m’s “half electronic, half synth pop, half Goth” blend of music captures the emotion of an unspoken word, a single moment. From penetrating rhythms to swirling atmosphere, the songs are at home both on the darkest dance floors and on those long drives to nowhere. Delica-m has played in countless clubs, opening for bands such as The Birthday Massacre, Diorama and Decoded Feedback, in high-profile shows like Oktotenfest, The Future of Pop and EBM fest. Their powerful live show consists of music and performances that captivate listeners and earn them enthusiastic new fans.
Now their latest release “Driftbetween” is out with eight new tracks. Synth pop and electro music comes at you. Female and male vocals sung in a way that you think of Depeche Mode within an instant. The music is heavily influenced by the 80s electro music and brings back memories from that time. Some of the songs on this CD are slower, floating along but are still very danceable whereas other songs are faster and more electronic. “Driftbetween” is definitely drifting between fast electro and synth pop. An interesting album. Definitely a nice addition to the collection of TBM fans and such.
