Shadow Minds is a synth-pop band from Northern Germany, founded in 2003. Their original singer left the band in 2006 but that didn’t stop the band from making music. Shadow Minds released their debut album in late 2008. They played some festivals and also appeared on a few electro compilations. Shadow Minds has also done some Remixes for Sara Noxx and Peter Spilles project IMATEM.
This is the second album of Shadow Minds and is called “The Arc Of Truth” and is out now. The music is somewhere between synth-pop and EBM. The lyrics are very light and more floating along than actually taking over a main part in the arrangements. The main focus lies on the electro beats whereas the lyrics are more in the background. All fifteen songs are not too spectacular. The music is quite mellow and stays on the same level throughout the entire duration of play. There are no severe ups and downs, no real faster or slower songs coming on this album. One mellow mass is basically what the new Shadow Minds album “The Arc Of Truth” is all about. Therefore it definitely is a great album to calm down or to b played as background music.
