Brandon Flowers is an American musician, best known as the frontman, vocalist, and keyboardist of the Las Vegas-based rock band The Killers. He announced his solo career on April 29, 2010 on The Killers official website. His debut album “Flamingo” is out now.
To say one thing up front: This album is simply beautiful! Brandon’s voice is amazing and so is the sound. The songs are mostly slower than you know it from The Killers. But each song is just as catchy. Ten songs full of amazing music with big sound and gorgeous arrangements dig deep into your heart and are meant to stay there for a very long time. The cover already gives you a very intimate feeling. It is bursting from emotions. Mixed ones: Sadness, happiness, maybe even pain. All songs are easy to sing along and totally get stuck in your head. “Hard Enough” includes the beautiful voice of Jenny Lewis. The album “Flamingo” also contains a lot of country elements. “On The Floor” even contains gospel elements. This is an amazing album and of being an “all time stuck in your head” it can only be topped by the White Lies. Brandon Flowers gave us a beautiful album called “Flamingo”. Go get it and love it. I am sure it will get you as much as it got me.
