Virgin Snatch is a Thrash Metal band from Poland. This formation started in 2001 and “Act of Grace” is their fourth full length release.
This band brings a surprise considering the vocals. Heavy Metal was not what I had expected to be in included considering the artwork, the name and all what they try to put down as their image at first sight. Yet, some influences of that can be heard in the vocals. It is raw, but yet there is the still that typical heavy metal vibe in it. The riffage is aggressive with its melodic elements, seems the band has a typical modern approach of metal. The solo’s bring a good extra for the listener, while they might have been overwhelmed by the Death Metal to find in here too. Varied music, a decent production and all the elements that attract a wide audience. The band has got themselves a good act together and much words are not needed to tell you that “Act of Grace” is on that is a good addition of your collection. They have been touring with some big names already, so when the time is there you will face them too and you better know their songs by heart to make the party complete.
