Liv Animal is an Alternative rock band from Finland. The band had released two EP’s before and is now releasing their third one: “Work of Art”.
The band is quite easy to listen, before you know the EP is over and then you start realizing what you just heard. It has some catchy songs as the first two on this EP, but also catches a powerful ballad “Blue Tomorrow”.
Instrumentally it all seems to fit well. Not too comprehensive though, just what’s needed for the sound and not much extra’s around. On the vocal side you’ll get confronted with a voice that can do both that powerful sounds and match the calmer parts too, but in the mix of the EP it could have gotten a more dominant place. That would give the band even more power and makes it even more easy to just hum along. So yes, the band has some work to do, but surely is going good on the road. While waiting for what is coming next, there is still a repeat button for “Work of Art” as it is a nice one to spend the summer with. We get totally happy from music like this.
