It was around the creepy time of 2001 when THE CRIMSON GHOSTS showed up the first time. 9 years later the band already released their debut album “Leaving the tomb”, the follow up “Carpe Mortem” the third masterpiece “Dead eyes can see”, a 7″ Vinyl called “Sharing prey” and their deadliest opus today “Generation Gore”. Especially strong vocals, diversity, the ability to create mind-ripping, heavy songs as well as spooky, catchy ballads and a sound that is absolutely incomparable and self-contained make THE CRIMSON GHOSTS to one of the top bands in Horrorpunk.
The intro starts with crows. Then the horror punk sets in, very thriving and energetic. The singer has a great voice. Somehow the album is spreading a good mood. Along all the English songs you can also find a German song on it. Also can you find some other horror punk artists such as Goolsby from Blitzkid and others. “Dein Nachtmahr” is one of the harsher songs on the album “The Body Bag” has a funky sound, an awesomely catchy and energetic song. The album is really great and a must have for all fans of horror punk. The Crimson Ghosts gave us a wonderful piece of music with “Generation Gore”. Make sure to get it.
