Beati Mortui was formed at year 2005 in Helsinki, Finland.

Beati Mortui and their new album “Let The Funeral Begin” start out strong. Fast EBM music with distorted zombie-like vocals the three Finns lead you into their world, showing you a darker side. Dark lyrics are telling tales, and the melody in the background creates the fitting image in your head. “Deathrow” includes great piano playing. On the second CD you can find thriving remixes, songs that will definitely be getting many people on the dance floor in the clubs. The actual album is a lot gloomier than the remix album though. “Sanctimonious” has a monk choir in the intro. All in all “Let The Funeral Begin” is avery artistic album and so is the booklet and the album layout. Gorgeous and beautiful pictures of each band member in different angles are in the booklet along with the lyrics. A wonderful album you should check out if you’re into EBM.
