Nervenbeisser – Alles Gut

Nervenbeisser is a band from Germany manking NDH. The band is currently releasing their third EP. It is called “Alles Gut” and it is available now.

With a title like that you must be careful to read it with the right interpretation. If you read it as: all what is on the EP is good, you may be setting your expectations to high. The band is not giving us terrible songs, but they do not really rise above the average either. A lot of the material is something you hear here and there and does not bring you something you have not heard before. And including two remixes is maybe a thing for fans, but certainly does not help in showcasing your own qualities and identity at this stage of exitence.
What does speak for the band is that they try to show some different sides from themselves and yet maintain a sort of red thread through the release. Looks like they do have an idea of what they want to bring. If they can wind it up in a unified sound for a full length it may be a good one.

The release is nice for thos ewho favor that German sound. It is not really bringing something you have not heard before, but is brining you enough quality to enjoy the release nevertheless. These guys need to take the leap and dare to set their identy strong. Time will tell.
