The ninth album of Canadian rockers Danko Jones was released a couple of weeks ago. The most of previous records you can see at the cover of “A rock supreme” as well as band’s performance on the table in front of the girl.
Now you get the rock combo: eleven instructions puzzled in “A rock supreme” record. Rock n’ roll is one of those things that’s easy to talk about but hard to do. Or maybe not as hard as to just play guitar. Anyway, “I’m in a band” track on the top of verge because of its simplicity. After twenty years on stage, there is no sign of pompous pride, only job the band likes. Other benefits of being in the band are parties and craziness unlimited. Tracks “Party” and “We’re crazy” are pretty evidences. Then you can hit the floor, dance the floor exactly with “Dance dance dance”. Unexpected rockabilly “Burn in hell” drives to the devil that rings the bell. Enjoy the ride. What about the music, it’s not only singing, that’s whispering, crawling and storytelling. For instance, you can listen to “Lipstick city”.
Danko Jones keeps things simple and predictable during two decades. This record spins world round and round, this kind of music saves the day.
