7 Days In Alaska is a pop formation from Norway. The guys released their first full length album called “Dancing With Ghost”.
An album like this is full of catchy pop songs, singalong and easy to remember. Songs you hear when you switch on the radio. My first thought was The Rasmus meets Muse. And these bands are both mentioned as an influence so that thought seem to hold ground.
It may be a bit more synth driven
rather than the darker guitar sound that you would imagine with
these. The guys don’t seek the comprehension, the lyrics having many
repeats and also instrumentally you won’t see them going too wild but
when aiming for that pop sound it is not expected. With these songs
they will gather a young crowd that can grow along with them as they
develop their sound and meet their heroes musically.
The band
released “Cloud 9” as a single, which is also the song that
stands out most to this album.
A young trio that will get
themselves a good career in music if they keep going like this, work
hard, play a lot of shows and grow their music along with their
fanbase. It is a good poprelease which will please many youngsters.
