[schema type=”review” name=”Herzparasit – ParaKropolis” description=”Label: Echozone” author=”Sabine van Gameren” pubdate=”2017-05-05″ ]Herzparasit is a band from Germany making Gothic Rock mixed with Industrial. The duo fits themselves into the Neue Deutsche Härte direction. Their debut album “Fromme Lämmer” came out in 2011 and in 2014 the band returned with an album called “Gifttherapie”. Anno 2017 album number three is ready. It is called “ParaKropolis” and is available now. –
Seeing what we wrote about the first two albums you can say the band has done a huge step forward. They still give us a recognizable sound, but the band is not affraid to make cliché their own thing. A bit more Herzparasit it is! Also they succeeded more in bringing the feeling of the words come across. Even those who don’t speak German will feel the drama in it and that makes the whole so much more alive. But if you want to hear what the band thinks of singing in English, listen to “It Must Be In English”. German is more for them.
A doomsday theme is interpretated in this album. The guys have brought it clearly and full of power. “ParaKropolis” is fine release for the Germans, they have progressed a lot and made an album that they can be proud of.
