Sathanas is an American formation that makes Blackened Death Metal. They have been around since 1988 and released several albums through the years. “Worship The Devil” is studio album number nine for the guys and it is out now.
As in the music you can safely say that you know what to expect. The band brings out an album that is all in line with what they have always been doing. The evil that speaks from the title is represented throughout. That evil comes alive not only in the lyrics, but in the music they are teasing you constantly. Taking it slow and drag your desires for an outburst forward and forward. And before youa re getting it, you get a little solo first. Often they let you wait until they feel pleased to come to to the conclusion and when you as a listener are ready to submit to that, you start to find the strongest connection with the release.
Altogether the band has an excellent release ready for their fans. It’s all Sathanas that you know and although you must not expect to hear a whole lot of surprising new things in there, it is a release that extends your collection of what has always been good.
