14-03-2013 Zeromancer

Venue: Rind, Rüsselsheim (Germany)
By: Nina Mende

The Norwegian synth-rock band had just released their new album “Bye Bye Borderline” as they announced their current tour. Shortly after that they also announced a quite shocking post on their homepage with the following headline: “The last Zeromancer tour?” The post explains that the guys will change their priorities. It does not mean they call it quit, Zeromancer will still release albums, but they will not tour as much. Just one more reason to head out seeing the Norwegians in Rüsselsheim. Zeromancer has two support acts on this tour: Scream Silence and Eyes Shut Tight.

So with a new album and those two bands along, Zeromancer headed out on the road and stopped by in Rüsselsheim tonight. The venue was not too crowded. But it was a weekday and not a big city at all. Most of the people in the venue wore a Zeromancer band shirt and were absolutely excited to see the band. So the cheering was loud as the band came on stage. Zeromancer was starting their show with a couple new songs to which the audience knew the lyrics already. What a compliment to the band. Zeromancer continued with a mix of old and new songs. People were dancing along to the music, singing along and cheering out loud. The show was full of emotions and positive vibes. What a wonderful evening with a wonderful band. So go check out the Norwegians while touring. We will never know when we get the chance to see them again.
