Xander Demos is a guitarist based in USA. Through the years he worked with many international artists and played various live shows. Right now he releases the album “Guitarcadia”.
Xander is a man that wants to put himself into the spotlights with this release, throughout the record it is fully his playing that is upfront even though there also other musicians that joined him. An interesting choice to make, some others prefer to bring more balance into that, for examplethe Christian Tolle Project. This choice he made does have the effect that it may not be an album that is easily accessible for a wide audience. Those who surely enjoy listening to endless guitarsolo’s would enjoy the skills of Xander absolutely, cause sure he knows his tricks but it could have reached to a wider audience than it does now. Here and there some vocalists bring the needed variation into it, but many listeners may have lost interest before that. Such a pity. Good, with the quality of his work is nothing wrong so we are that his network will expand fast. Perhaps a next release will bring some even more exciting collaborations and then it may be an album that will reach out a little more.
