The American band Bible of the Devil are making Rock n’Roll Metal. Founded back in 1999, the band has created quite a list on release, with the addition of “For The Love of Thugs & Fools” the band has six full length albums on their name.
Raw vocals, not the sleazy shiny stuff but pure filthy rock is what these guys stand for. Right from the start you hear that they are not coming from generation pretty but let the music have a strong body, good bass making the sounds very solid and then add the guitars to it. Good solo’s are to be found multiple times. The band keeps it moderate though. No more ego tripping that necessary, so it is still pleasant to listen to no matter how long they are. What is to notice is that the band plays around with your attention, let each individual come upfront but makes sure that it is not some endless battle of who’s heard mostly. A good way to balance it. The band created an album that brings you in the mood for a roadtrip. Pack some stuff and go somewhere, destination unknown. It listens easily and has an easy feel-good touch on it. Pleasant album, rock and roll as it should be.
