Deus Mortem is a Polish Black Metal duo with members Inferno and Necrosodom, both known from various projects. “Darknessence” is a limited 7” vinyl EP as well as a CD.
With an upcoming full length release this small release is out here to give an idea what to expect from these Black Metal gentlemen. They have created these songs which give you the true Black Metal feeling, Black is the new Black. An instrumental war with all the evil that could imagine in there and the vocals that spit the words vicious and mean. The duo seems to be up for some technical material, to step away from the most common way of composing a song they liked to play around a little. This results in two tracks that get some well-deserved attention. It’s hard to bring something new into the genre so the fact that they elaborated their sound surely speaks for them. If there is more of this to be found on that upcoming full length release, you can be sure that Deus Mortem is a project that will be spoken off. Worth to get it, it is limited, don’t wait too long for it, it may sell out soon.
