Venue: Colossaal, Aschaffenburg (Germany)
By: Nina Mende
Tonight Emil Bulls hit Aschaffenburg. Sold out house it seemed – if not it was at least pretty close to that – with two opening acts, which I missed, unfortunately. The house was packed and everyone was in the mood for great rock music and a lot of action. Most in the audience were already sweating. Shouting and welcoming the boys with a warm welcome the audience cheered out loud right as Emil Bulls entered the stage.
Emil Bulls is a German alternative metal band that formed in 1995 in Munich, Bavaria. The group is currently constituted of two guitarists, a bass guitar player, a drummer and a vocalist/guitarist. They are currently touring with their brand new album “Oceanic” which all fans knew by heart already. But not only did Emil Bulls play several songs of this album, they also played old hits such as “Smells Like Rock And Roll”, “Leaving You With This” and newer hits like “Here Comes The Fire” and several other tracks from the previous album “Phoenix”. The audience went insane. Crowdsurfing and moshing, screaming, dancing, clapping and loud cheering was the least the audience could do. The venue was heating up within seconds and it was only a matter of time until everyone was soaked in sweat. After an hour Emil Bulls left the stage, but the audience demanded more, and they got it. As encore they closed the night with songs like “Nothing In This World” and “I Don’t Belong Here”. It was an amazing night with one of the best German rock bands. Their tour will continue for a few more weeks. So make sure to check them out.
