The Italian Evangelou Gerassimos released his second album under the name of Lord Agheros “As A Sin”
Lord Agheros created a dark, ambient atmospheric sound on “As A Sin”. Those who enjoy listening Bathory will certainly like to experience the dark and epic sound of Lord Agheros too.
Very calm chances from futuristic synths, ordinary piano to acoustic guitars. You hear black metal screams as well, but they are not really that present at all. The vocals are definitely not meant to be the main part of attraction in the music anyway. Gothic elements give this music a twist to the realistic world when female vocals bring back a more open impression. It makes the music more approachable.
The music is moody and did fulfill my expectations when I saw the artwork. When thinking it is released rtight exactly when the leaves are falling from the trees, the wind is snaring and blowing the rain into your face, while you can’t hold up your umbrella anymore, I love to sit inside near the fireplace listening to this album.
Right time, right place, right atmosphere.
