Finally Deceased is a Old School Death Metal that was founded in 1992. They have a German base and even though they exist for quite some years it took them to 2011 to release their debut album called “Finally Deceased”.
This trio have clearly taken its time to release this album, but this did not result in a perfect outcome as you may expected. Of course we get a raw old school production, but not necessarily the best one for this band. The vocals come upfront leaving the rest annoyingly in the background. Instead of giving them a chance to back up and strengthen the music it seem to have less of a function in their sound. Quite a pity because this could have been done way better and that may have resulted in a way better outcome. Hear the bass bringing some substantial element in the sound if you bother to focus on it. If that would have been more upfront the music would have been more powerful. Then, it must been said that this album has already been recorded in 1995, two years before the band called its quits. Now the band decided to get back together it may only be a matter of time until they record some new material and give their band a real chance on the market.
