Yet another show, tonight it was going to be a little calmer: Nick Howard was in town to play a wonderful show for us!

As I arrived, Nachtleben was quite full already. Honestly, I was surprised, but happy to see that. Especially with quite some people wearing Nick Howard shirts. Chatting all excited they could hardly wait for Nick to come on stage and finally perform. But first there was a sweet duo playing some acoustic songs for us. A very new band with a female vocalist and a male guitar player / backing vocalist. Unfortunately I could not hear their name. They started this music project together five months ago and you could tell they were very nervous. But they did a great job. With an awesomely clear and pure voice singing like an angel, the two got our hearts instantly! The singer was talking quite a bit in between the songs, which made her even more endearing. A very beautiful set by the two.
After the wonderful half an hour performance it was time for Nick Howard to play for us on this Monday evening. Nick Howard is a British Singer Songwriter from Brighton, England. Nick achieved mainstream success with his critically acclaimed debut album “Something To Talk About” which was released in 1998. Nick’s songs have been featured in several TV shows and Films and he has toured with many mainstream artists including Gavin DeGraw, Lifehouse, Jack Johnson, Boyce Avenue and Counting Crows. His new album “When The Lights Go Up” will be out soon. Tonight for his acoustic show he had two fellow musicians along to play Cajon and e-guitar. Nick Howard was playing on his acoustic guitar for the entire time. The very second the trio began playing it felt like a warm summer night with flowers blooming everywhere instead of the dark and freezing cold Monday night in February it was. Nick Howard’s music filled the room with positive vibes that wrapped around your heard, filled it with happiness and joy and made it skip a beat. Simply beautiful and catchy the music got you going along. the audience sang and clapped along. Nick talked in between the songs and thanked everyone for coming out tonight. He also played songs from the upcoming album “When The Lights Go Up”. It was a wonderful set that should have never ended. This Monday night definitely felt like a Friday night at least! Nick Howard is an amazing musician and it was a pleasure watching and listening to him tonight.
