Total Fucking Destruction is a Grind Core band from USA. They have formed in 1999 and have released a long list of splits. Also two full lengths and with “Haters” the third long player is added to the list.

Richard Hoak, responsible for both lead vocals and drums, is the mastermind of this band. He adds a lot of aggressive elements with his role in the band and no wonder that he is always upfront with it. Leaves us with strings quite pushed backwards but nevertheless some groove comes up with it too. Surprising is that with the addition of some more vocals by Paul Herzog they managed to make it all quite open. Hysteria all over it and the tempo is up with it too. 27 songs, at the typical grindcore length, fly through sooner than you realize. When there are some moments you get to the guitars more than sticking with the drums and vocals you hear interesting riffs that come in quite surprising. They have found themselves some inspiration in other genres which makes it playful and daring. No, Total Fucking Destruction can’t do much wrong with this release, Besides the fact that after 27 songs you still like to hear some more, but that is where the repeat button is for.
