Me & That Man is a project of Nergal, known from Behemoth. The Polish man returns with a new release under this name. “New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol. 2” is out now.

As with the previous release this album brings us a lot of collaborations. Songs with the finest artist out of the Nergal his network. And since he played everywhere, all over the world he has quite some interesting names to invite. Combined with a bit of roadtrip vibes the first couple of songs are passing by. It is interesting to see that although the voices to hear in this release are diverse, the songs are still kept in line. Whether it is Abbath, Hank von Hell or Myrkur that joins in, it suits.

Looking at where to find the most surprising tracks we are looking at “Witches Don’t Fall in Love” featuring Kristoffer Rygg. A bluesy touch, a story that brings the smile on your face. Make a quick jump after that towards “Silver Halide Echoes” Featuring Randy Blythe and you get this same vibes.

The collaboration with Alissa White-Gluz and Devin Townsend will surely be spoken about a lot, however does not jump out that much to us. But perhaps that is just a matter favorites as the song itself suits well with this duo.

Me & That Man has released another album that gives you a different perspective of its founder. You get a good production, well thought songs and smartly chosen collaborations. If that is what ‘Same Shit’ means then we could welcome many more volumes.
