The British formation Glamour of The Kill has been around since 2007. Their music meets the Metal, the Rock and also Pop. Their album “The Summoning” is out now.
It has a commercial edge, mainly because the music of Glamour of The Kill is very modest in all points. Those guitars are not too much for a rock listener, but not too simple that Metal fans would not like it. The vocals are mostly clean, but are not too high and dramatic, It is catchy and easy to sing along, but it does not get annoying or too emo. Easy enough, the band have found the perfect balance to run into the charts of several countries. Bullet For My Valentine done it before, but when the time comes to it this band will give them some interesting competition. A first video has been made already, for the song “Feeling Alive” (youtube ), which seem a perfect choice for them as it summarizes exactly what the band is about.
A release that may not bring music you have not heard before, but the band has its modesty as its strongest weapon. The created an album that widens the world for them. Highly recommended.
