Muerte Por Mil Cortes is a Spanish formation. The make Death Metal, with grindcore influences and “En El Nombre Del Pánico” is their new release.
Formed in 2007 the band have a relatively short time of existence, but the musicians are coming from other bands. Also from different genres so it lies in expectations that there is some genre experimenting, but you may be set right back to the start when you play this release. The band remains an aggressive style, a lot of Grind core in there. The filth in vocals the dirt, it comes together with some decent riffing. Not the most surprising, but yet interesting enough to keep your attention with it. It ain’t the fastest band around, they get stuck at some point, but this gives more space to focus on the brutality of it.
Ten tracks are given on this album, which all are in perfect line with each other, none of them is really standing above the other, they are much alike. This causes that you go with steady tempo through the album, but in the end is lacking a bit of originality. Nevertheless, this release is one that will please the Grind core fans quite well. It shows a band that is on their way, delivered a decent album and is up for more.
