Nazca Lines is a band from Seattle. The band makes a mix of Post Rock and Punk. The released the EP “Nazca Lines” after the release of their debut. Currently the band is working on their next full length album.
The band seems very playful at first sight. A whole story is what you get confronted with quite from the start, but the band knows to build a good musical frame around it. It has that driving element that you find back from post-rock. The music builds up quite some tension which leads to that climax at the end of the track to be done with it straight away. Not much more comes after that, which makes it clear the guys prefer to be straight to the point. What speaks positively is that the band have plenty of variation in these three songs, the way they deal with the tempo changes makes it an interesting game to observe, but nevertheless remained to make the songs fit next to each other.
This release seem to be a little teaser towards that new full length release the band is working on. As that one stands in line with what the band is presenting on this EP we are totally convinced that it will be a killer release.
