The Dead Daisies is an Australian-American hard rock band. Formed in Sydney in 2012, the group was initially a duo composed of David Lowy and Jon Stevens, who recorded the band’s self-titled debut album in 2013 with session musicians. Now the band consists of four members. And this is their fifth album, going by the name of “Holy Ground”.

“Holy Ground” comes with eleven songs and lasts for fifty-three minutes. The music on this album is filled with pure Rock’n’Roll. While some songs are slower and will get you rather swaying along, the album also includes fast rock songs that you can bang your head to. Each song is carrying strong emotions and the lyrics are about everyday life, so you will most likely be able to relate to one or the other. All songs are timeless and energetic. You can feel the passion and heart they put into each bit of this album.
