Releasedate: 15-11-2010; Label: Ván Records

Vanderbuyst is a Dutch hard rock band. They recently released their debut album “Vanderbuyst”.
Sure, the name already points you in the direction of names like Van Halen en Vandenberg and this seem to be exactly what these guys are up for. The band is named after their guitarist Willem Verbuyst, who quite easily sets himself upfront with it. This makes sense as it are exactly these guitars that stand upfront in the music as well. His solo’s are sparkling and making half of the music for what it is. In combination with a whole lot of catchiness this band the songs are easy to listen to and bring you back in time. Lyrically and vocally, they might not be the strongest, but in the end that does not matter as if the guitars are compensating it more than enough to keep your attention with the flow. And since time traveling is certainly a dream for many when it comes to music, this band brought an album that will be welcomed by many. With some more time these vocals will grow into the sound as well and when a second release will come it might only be better. The band will do quite some shows in the upcoming time, which will be much recommended. The album is an honorable invitation to their tour.
